Rescuing Street Children | Save the Girl Child

DJSS has been reclaiming the lost childhood of street children and preparing them for responsible adulthood through this program.

We have been identifying Street / Orphan children through our volunteers, community elders, police, women & child welfare department and district child protection unit from different villages of Khordha and Cuttack, Puri, Mayurbhanj, Anugul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Balasore, Gajapati, Kandhamala, Kendrapada and other and counsel them and send them to Home of Hope Street Children Centre.

Women, particularly young girls, in India are vulnerable to many threats, such as abuse, being deprived of education, child marriage. You can help save the girl child by supporting Djss program for street children and sponsoring education of one girl child.

We assess the child’s problems and provide counselling.

Home of djss gurukula vidya pitha is run by an NGO at bhubaneswar,odisha. Since 2009, we have rescued 41 street kids.

The Home of Hope children have been admitted to English Medium or Telugu medium schools based on each child’s standards. djss gurukula vidya pitha pays for lodging and boarding, educational material, vocational skills training, evening tuitions after school hours, recreation activities and health care for the 40 kids.
